Bob | Stopping Smoking

Mary booked her husband Bob a 48-year-old male in for a session to stop smoking, normally I would speak to Bob personally before a session but because I knew Mary and she said Bob was desperate to give up smoking I agreed to see him.

Upon arrival, Bob didn’t seem pleased to be here. After formalities I asked did he want to give up smoking. “NO” was the reply. So why did you come for? Because my wife wanted me too. To which I replied well in that case it was nice to meet you but I can’t help you. To which he replied I can’t leave Marys picking me up after the session and I dare not be here. We both laughed and I preceded to ask why didn’t he want to give up smoking? Bob said he didn’t want to give smoking up because when he gets angry it settles his nerves. Bob then told me he often gets angry for no particular reason. After chatting for a short time, we decided to use the session to look into his anger issue and not smoking seeing he was here anyway (although I suspected the two went hand in hand).

Whilst regressing Bob back to the origin of his anger issue, one of Bob’s stops along the way is at an event at the age of 14 years old where he has gotten angry and has lost his temper, a Dad of a friend is looking after him and passes him a cigarette and says here have one of these it’ll calm your nerves! This is when Bob formed the belief that smoking will calm his nerves.

I proceeded to take Bob further back in time to the origin of his anger issue and at this point we released the energy surrounding this event. On the way back to current time we revisited the time when Bob was offered his first cigarette and I asked him did he need a cigarette? Bob replied he didn’t need a cigarette as he already felt calm. We then finished up the session.

A few weeks later Mary contacted me to say how wonderful it was that Bob had stopped smoking and how much calmer he seemed to be.
